Join the Tucson Brandeis Community
The Tucson Chapter supports Brandeis University through learning, social justice, and community-building activities, fostering connections with members across the country.

Part of the pleasure of being a Brandeis National Committee (BNC) member is the pride of affiliation with Brandeis University, a center of academic excellence.
Our learning opportunities provide inexpensive intellectual and social stimulation for our members through our carefully designed course work. All of our events enable members to connect with like-minded people in the Tucson community while being educated or entertained.
Through our Social Justice/Community Service activities and programs (currently Assistance League of Tucson, The Emerge! Center Against Domestic Violence, Youth on Their Own [YOTO], and the Sister Jose Women’s Center for homeless women), members have the opportunity to give back to the Tucson community.
Members gain satisfaction from the sharing of a common purpose—to raise funds to help sustain the prestigious position of Brandeis University in the upper echelon of American higher education by supporting the students, faculty, libraries, research, the Tucson Chapter Endowed Scholarship for a Tucson-area student accepted to Brandeis University, and the Sustaining the Mind fund for scholarship and research in neurodegenerative diseases..
We fulfill our mission when you join the Tucson Chapter of the BNC and donate through our many programs. The BNC plays a critical role in advancing the academic excellence of the University.
We raise money through our Events, Study Groups, and Book Fund.

Welcome to the Brandeis National Committee
The Brandeis National Committee is a membership organization that was founded alongside the university in 1948 to establish an external community to support Brandeis University before the university had an alumni base. Today, the Brandeis National Committee remains committed to its initial purpose and has grown into a vibrant international community of members that support Brandeis' values.
The Brandeis National Committee has active chapters throughout the country. In addition to our local chapters, the Brandeis National Committee is launching a virtual chapter this year that will be available to all Brandeis National Committee members to continue connecting through virtual platforms and programming.
As a BNC member, you will:
Remain connected to the global Brandeis community
Participate in exclusive events with Brandeis faculty and alumni
Develop meaningful friendships and connections with other BNC members through in-person and virtual programming
Network with new acquaintances with similar interests
Develop leadership skills in a national organization
Give back in ways that benefit Brandeis students for generations to come
