LEARN TO PLAY MAH JONGG THIS SUMMER
It couldn’t be easier … pick up, swap, and discard tiles until you get a winning hand and call “Mah Jongg.” This class is a beginner Mah Jongg class. You will learn the basics of play for American Mah Jongg according to the NMJL Rules and Guidelines. It’s a small class with individual attention, hands-on activity and real time play. My strategy for learning the game may be unique but successful, possibly because of my previous training as a school teacher. After attending 6 consecutive sessions you will be ready to play. Mah Jongg requires skill, strategy, calculation and a little luck. Each member will be required to purchase a 2026 Mah Jongg card.  We will continue to play Mah Jongg for the remainder of the summer every Monday.
Leader: Davya Cohen 520-904-2960 scohen7397@aol.com
Time 10am - noon
Dates: Every Monday from June 15 through July 20
Place: Davya’s home
Limit: Minimum 4, Maximum 10
Davya learned to play Mahj as a child and rediscovered the game again in recent years.
$20. Check  payable to BNC Tucson send  to Terrie Sherman, 7580 E. Rio Verde Dr. Tucson, AZ 85715.  Please list the class you are taking and include name(s), email and phone number.
